Morning walk in my favorite forest.
I am late today; the sunrise is coming and I should have been at the watch place already.
A male chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs) sounds the alarm in the forest.
The goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis)
The little owl is always staring.
Long-tailed bush-tit (Aegithalos caudatus)
Despite all the forest spies I arrive at the watching place in silence. After a short waiting the prize comes out.
Maybe in other places the deer are habituated to humans, but in this forest they are extremely shy.
Somehow, they feel my presence; maybe they smell me or hear the shutter.
I like when I succeed to take photos of wild animals without scaring them. And this time they walked away slowly, at normal pace.
